Jack has been really excited to lose a tooth. A couple of weeks ago, his first tooth became loose and it was a very big moment. Yesterday, I picked him up from school and he excitedly handed me a little tooth box. Apparently he had pulled it (!) at school and they gave him the tooth box to store it in. In anticipation of the big event, I had previously painted a little wooden box gold and I made a pillow for the inside. Jack wanted to keep the tooth to share at school so we wrote a note for the Tooth Fairy with a request to leave the tooth.
In the morning - 5:30am - Jack discovered that his note was gone and it was replaced with a note from the Tooth Fairy and five gold $1 coins.
