First Day in the Highchair
Well, Jack can't roll over yet, but he can sit up like a champ (which BTW, the doc says trumps rolling over any day and quickly put the neurotic parent-side of our minds to rest). Given that he can sit up, we decided to try out those germ-ridden restaurant highchairs for the first time this weekend. Jack didn't fall over or fall out, so he has officially graduated from lounging in the stroller tableside to sitting at the table like a big boy. He looks pretty happy about it!

Oh he is so cute. Aly didn't roll over until she was six months old... because we never put her down on her belly. She HATED being on her belly. Then, once she did, she only rolled to the right. Plus, like Aly did, Jack has a lot of rolls himself, and that is a lot to hoist over. FYI- I finally got her to do it by holding a mirror over her face and moving it to her side...she followed it and over she went.
ReplyDeleteGlad he can join you guys at the table. Eating as a family is the best.

BTW- there are REALLY cool cover things that cover the restaurant high chairs and shopping carts...good investment.
